What is it?
ScrawlrBox is an art supplies subscription box that scours the planet in search of the greatest creative tools. Delivering a monthly box of pens, pencils, paint and any other mark makers to artists of all abilities, ScrawlrBox subscribers open their box and feel that need to create.

Kuretake Cartoonist Brush Pen No. 22
Lyra Aqua Brush Duo
Pentel Touch Brush Sign Pen
Zig BrusH2O Waterbrush (Large)
Water Colour Duo (GOLD+SILVER)
Sharpie Whiteboard Marker Chisel Tip
The Kuretake Cartoonist Brush Pen created a great inky painting effect with precision; I’m going to use this one for one of my ethnic geo markings prints! The Lyra Aqua Brush Duo had a more felt tippy finish, which makes it a good one to practice with before moving onto the brush pen. I would love a whole set of these! They are great for detailing in all scales.
The Pentel Touch is a nice responsive pen, with a soft handle.
I’m going to have a field day with all these pens! They’re perfect for creating different marking in some of my tribal prints this season!
I just love using the water colour pen; water filters through the pen nib so it works as a pretty special paint brush! Again, it has the precision needed for details within my floral prints!
The ScrawlBox has made me try pens I wouldn’t necessarily think about buying and opened my eyes to new products. I would definitely look to be more adventurous with my pen collection from now on, and – especially as a designer – I’d love to receive this box on a monthly basis.
How much does it cost?
The cost is £15 per month on a rolling contract, £45 for a 3 month contract, £85.00 for 6 months or £165.00 for 12 months. You can subscribe for yourself, or give as a gift. If you decide you no longer want to use the service you can cancel your subscription at any time (no contracts, no fees) and you will no longer be sent the box.
